I’m not sure when Microsoft released the Platform Demos for Internet Explorer 9 but I’ve taken a look and I have to say that I’m impressed! So far their focus seems to be on CSS3 compliance and HTML5 standards which is a good thing! They are also working on how IE9 renders Java, which has always been a complaint of mine with IE.
As impressed as I was when I tested IE8, I’m really impressed with the overall clarity of images and sharpness of text. I can’t wait for the beta for IE9 to be released because I think I’m going to have to give it a try!
Go check out the Platform Demos and see what you think! I’m interested to know what everyone else thinks about it and I’ll be keeping my eyes on the development process. As early as it is in the development process, I can’t even imagine when there will be a release date for IE9. And just so everyone knows, this isn't the beta release! Yes, you can surf to different sites, but it's mostly a demo of how it currently operates.
UPDATE: Microsoft says that Internet Explorer 9 will not work on Windows XP according to NeoSeeker.
